Destiny and the Graal Playerworld Dispute (2000)
In the year 2000, a major dispute emerged within the early Graal development community involving Stefan Knorr (“Bomber”) and Stephane Portha (“Unixmad”).
According to accounts from the period, the first playerworld, Destiny, created by Antago, was taken and incorporated into Graal’s development ecosystem along with content from Graal: Bomy Moon (later known as Graal2001). Portions of this material were altered, reorganized, and repurposed during the evolution of the game.
Following the dispute, Antago was banned along with several players who publicly defended him.
Later Statements
In 2019, Stefan Knorr was captured in screenshots on Corleone Online stating that he had no involvement with Destiny and that the world appeared after he had left Graal.
However, earlier material from July 4, 2000 reveals Stefan welcoming Destiny onto the Graal Classic server, proving he was present during the period when Destiny was introduced.
